Mr.Kannan Lakshminarayan is an IITM(Indian Institute of Technology Madras) alumni.He is a serial entrepreneur,  a social worker and award winning innovator. He was born on August 13,1967. Mr.Kannan is a pioneer in the creation of the new-age ATMs which consumes less power and has various other features.He has also created a device which makes yarn by spinning microfibres of cotton.He also created a metal welding simulator.  He is also the Managing Trustee and founder of Fractal Foundation.Fractal Foundation is a foundation which has ideas and they convert these ideas into solutions to a various number of problems.He has contributed a key engineering solution for a community health initiative that was recognised at All India Ophthalmological Society Congress. He is associated with initiatives like Villgro and NEN that promote and mentor entrepreneurs. He is also the Founder and the Chairman of Sunbeam School which is located in Vellore. He continues to participate widely with grass-root level organizations and NGOs that work with rural poor on sustainable solutions that improve quality of life from whom he draws inspiration for pioneering new solutions that hold the promise of scalable impact.
